Help the environment with Carbon Balanced Print

At Kall Kwik St James’s we’re dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint and improving the environment for ourselves and future generations.

To do this, we have signed up to carbon balancing and carbon capture schemes with our main paper suppliers. This means that 100% of our paper and board is either carbon balanced, or carbon captured.

By working with Kall Kwik St James’s you have chosen a printer who is dedicated to protecting the environment and be default have made your own commitment to embrace your own corporate social responsibilities.

The money that is given to the World Land Trust, in my estimation, has more effect on the wild world than almost anything I can think of.

Carbon balancing with the World Land Trust

We are registered with World Land Trust (Member No. CBP000502), an international conservation charity which helps the preservation of high conservation forests, saving threatening habitats and their biodiversity.

By estimating the carbon impact of paper production, an equivalent amount of forest under threat of clearance is purchased to offset these emissions.

Since its’ launch in 2013 more than 2,000 organisations in the UK have now used Carbon Balanced Paper, balancing more than 153,000 tonnes of CO2 and preserving 13,140 acres of ecologically endangered land with World Land Trust.

Carbon capture with the Woodland Trust

The Woodland Trust (Member No. 19109900583) is the largest woodland conservation charity in the UK. By calculating the average amount of CO2 emitted during the manufacture and distribution of paper (verified using Carbon Trust and DEFRA figures), the equivalent amount of Carbon Dioxide is captured through the planting of native woodland here in the UK.
